've always wanted to visit this place and finally had the chance. I was very surprised at how small the menu was, but I still managed to order some really delicious dishes: fried oysters and amazing fried chicken! For dessert, I had Beignets, which were delicious. For a one-time visit, this place is really good. It seems more suited for people who enjoy socializing and drinking.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. It was busy but we had a reservation. Ordered the shrimp and avocado remoulade, eggs sardou, and a side of macaroni salad. The remoulade had good flavor. Also had the watermelon Agua fresca which was refreshing. Ambiance was nice though a little loud. There was a bar area and about small dining area. Service was fine. Street parking. On the outskirts of the cute downtown area but still walkable.

Decent food but didn't quite hit the spot for us. For the lack of Southern food in the area, this restaurant was a good option. Fried oysters were good. The gumbo was pretty spicy. The salad was a little overdressed with buttermilk. They must have been understaffed due to a holiday. The staff was friendly to us though.

Stopped by for an early lunch and it was quite peaceful. I definitely loved the ambiance and really liked the patio a lot. Our server killed it! He was very kind, attentive, and honest. Pork shoulder - we originally wanted to go for the brisket but they sold out so recommend maybe going earlier to get your hands on it! However, the pork shoulder sufficed. I think I'd give it a 8/10 Oysters - I didn't realize the oysters were quite pricey (about $3 each) but happy hour they are a little cheaper! So if you go for oysters, I'd check out the happy hour! They gave us a variation but I definitely liked the smaller oysters (Kuushi and Kumamotos) a lot better! Shrimp and Grits - the seasoning on the shrimp was great however I think the entire dish lacked some more butter or so. It wasn't as heavy as it usually is traditionally. 7/10 Overall, I'd give this place another try! The ambiance and service makes up for everything! Food wasn't terrible, still decent, just needed a little more work!
